Julia Raszewska
Alumni Development Officer

Recently finishing her MA in Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Julia now works as the college's Sabbatical Alumni Development Officer. Following her childhood at and around Warsaw, Julia completed her schooling at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School in London. She then went on to read History at Leicester University, graduating with a First-Class honours degree in 2015. Julia joined Hatfield in 2015 and immediatelly immersed herself in college life, becoming one of MCR's events officers. During the very eventful year she organized trips, formals (including the Inter-MCR Prohibition formal) and an academic symposium. In fact her affiliation with the MCR is so strong that Julia became a freshers' representative for this year's new MCR members in order to welcome new postgraduates into the Hatfield Community. In her spare time Julia loves horse-riding, cooking and dancing.
Meet Ian
"53rd at WEHoRR...
The moment we found out we were the fastest college in the country was when we realised how much potential our boat really had. While we realised we were going well, we never thought we'd get to a point where we were the girls to beat in college rowing up and down the country. It still feels quite surreal, and I can't really believe it happened even now. The boat was incredible and to this day, that VIII sets the standard for college rowing. It was a phenomenal moment and a memory I will always treasure"
